Accommodation for the big event!

Well this year there are so many of you traveling from overseas and interstate, we better get the accommodation sorted out so that you can not only save some money but enjoy your stay.
So there are now a few conference deals on the website that you are more than welcome to utilise.
However, in exploring all of the alternatives, a new option has presented itself. If you're feeling fairly relaxed about your options and are happy to wait a little longer to confirm your arrangements you might find wotif.com (search Australia then Parramatta) useful. The drawback is the rates are only available 28 days in advance, the benefits are savings of up to 50% (even more for luxury accom: see Pullman Hotel, 5 mins walk to the Fair venue, and it's a beautiful brand new 5 star hotel).
So the choice is yours, I know which option I'd be using, I do love the thrill of a bargain!
Cheers

Fresh Start

Hi Everyone,
Firstly, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year, I hope you all had a lovely festive season, and inspite of the copious food and drink that were most likely consumed, you are now all refreshed and energised for a big year.
To start off the new year, I have updated all of my associated sites, information and to an extent the way we will be doing things. This year will be like no other as I unofficially claim it as the year of the Teddy Bear!!! But to make it work I have had to streamline alot of my efforts and workload.
One of my biggest initiatives is the Teddy Bear Society, which I hope will encourage a spirit of community, and information sharing- and in turn educate the masses about our very special friend the Teddy Bear. If you haven't already, do yourself a favour and visit the site: www.teddybearsociety.com, register (it's free) and add your information to the growing lists of friends of the teddy bear, get notice of special offers and have hundreds of teddy links at your fingertips.
There are also options for sponsorship from artists, retailers and suppliers if they are interested. It is one of the easiest ways to reach a fantastic teddy audience.
As for the Sydney Teddy Bear Fair, things will be changing up once again, as I'm not one to sit on my hands, we will promoting the event in even smarter ways to ensure that we have even more quality visitors attending, stayed tuned for details.
So in the interests of processing information in as simplified manner as possible for everyone involved in the Fair, I will be keeping traders information located here on this blog, so subscribe and receive update notices straight to your email.
Also don't forget if you have any ideas, I'm always happy to hear them, maybe I'm not always able to act upon them, but we have been able to initiate the last 4 that came my way- so whatever we can do to enhance the Fair for everyone is always beneficial.
Take care
Melissa
